Last night, I took part in the fourth annual visual dialogue on death, dying, grief, and loss.
It was amazing to be part of this show. Allowing art to help us process our human emotions and experiences is one of its best aspects.
Hearing other artists’ statements was very touching, and sharing these vulnerabilities as a community was a very special experience. The idea of making room and normalizing the topic of death and grief is crucial for us to avoid living life in fear.
It was amazing meeting the talented artists of #newwestminsterbc and sharing this night with the community.
