My name is Tina Rezvani, and I paint surrealist pieces. When I was seventeen, I started exploring drawing and it opened a new portal for me to express my imagination.

I have always had a very active and vivid imagination and aspire to personal style and being true to one’s identity, so drawing gave me the freedom to be able to express myself without limits.

Eventually, I started doing acrylic paintings and then oil paintings. I am a self-taught artist and haven’t gone to art school. This has given me the ability to be free in expression although I do strive to learn different techniques to be able to express myself better; but space, time and limits do not exist in the world of my paintings.

As humans, we limit ourselves in so many different constructed ways and surrealism has given me the freedom to be in a world of pure fantasy.
